Please note: Classification and remuneration may be adjusted in line with the new Weekly Paid Enterprise Agreement once implementation arrangements are finalised.

About the Opportunity 

Join SA Health as a Part-time Diversional Therapist at Lameroo Multi-Purpose Service, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of aged care residents. This ongoing position offers the chance to implement, coordinate and evaluate activities that contribute to productive lifestyles for residents at Lameroo District Hospital and Health Services. Working within the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network, you will design and deliver social and diversional group activities, individual stimulation programs, and provide emotional support tailored to residents with varying cognitive and physical disabilities.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience providing direct care services in a health-related field
  • Proven experience working with elderly people
  • Staff supervision experience
  • Previous experience as a Diversional Therapist or Activities Coordinator
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Relevant qualifications and specialist knowledge enabling you to advise on activity programs and contribute to objective setting
