About the Role:

An exciting opportunity exists to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Enrolled Nurse within the Medical Admission and Planning Unit. This opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in patient care as part of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, and you will work in a collaborative environment focused on comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and discharge coordination. The Medical Admission and Planning Unit plays a crucial role in ensuring patients receive appropriate and timely care, from admission through to discharge. 

Enrolled Nurse
 
The Enrolled Nurse supports the provision of person-centred care consistent with regulatory and statutory requirements. Practice at this level is from novice to proficient Enrolled Nurse, and employees work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife, however at all times the Enrolled Nurse retains responsibility for their own actions and remains accountable in providing a high standard of nursing/midwifery care.

To be eligible for this position, you must registered or eligible for registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. In order to administer medications, you must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.
