About the Role

Join a team that delivers meaningful mental health care across both community and Hospital at Home settings, providing acute treatment and recovery support equal to inpatient quality. You will manage your own caseload, build strong connections and help shape positive outcomes every day.

Key Responsibilities – RN1 (Mental Health Nurse)

• Deliver direct care and support safe recovery
• Manage caseloads across community and Hospital at Home
• Plan care pathways for consumers needing acute support
• Provide education, counsel and group sessions
• Liaise with clinicians and community partners
• Build strong therapeutic relationships
• Support newer staff and develop capability
• Maintain competence and pursue development

Key Responsibilities – RN2 (Clinical Nurse)

• Lead high quality care across community and Hospital at Home
• Oversee caseloads and guide acute care planning
• Support and develop RNs, ENs and students
• Drive practice improvement and portfolio work
• Provide education, counsel and group programs
• Liaise with clinicians and external partners for best outcomes
• Contribute to teaching, research and service improvement
• Maintain competence and model professional practice

About You

You are a qualified mental health nurse who delivers safe, recovery focused care and works confidently in community and Hospital at Home settings. Appointment will be made at RN1 or RN2 level, based on your skills, experience and scope of practice.

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Mental health nursing qualification at Grad Dip level
• RN1 builds skill in assessment, care planning and teamwork
• RN2 leads complex care and supports clinical practice
• Strong communicator who works well across services
