About the role: 

Reporting to the Manager, some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Providing high quality administrative services and co-ordination of Telerehabilitation services across Ambulatory Rehabilitation Services and the wider Rehabilitation, Aged & Palliative Care Division
  • Maintain database on service statistics and generate required reports on patient activity
  • Arrange delivery, collection and return of loaned equipment and consumables
  • Ensure that information on the Hospital Electronic Patient system is maintained accurately including creating new patient MRNs, booking of outpatient appointments, updating records and accurate marking of files
  • Providing a customer oriented administrative service; ensuring accuracy of data, monitoring and reviewing procedures

About you:

  • Proven experience in Microsoft Office applications, including email, word processing and spreadsheets
  • Experience in setup and use of various technologies and video conferencing platforms
  • Ability to coordinate/ control/ lead administrative functions and delegated work to administrative staff in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in a professional and courteous manner with all internal and external customers
  • Ability to liaise and relate well with empathy to a variety of people, including elderly and disabled clients and to handle enquiries from a range of staff, patients, and visitors
