About the Role

Step into an advanced nursing role as a Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Practitioner Candidate. You’ll provide expert care, build your advanced practice skills, and work closely with colleagues to deliver safe, high-quality care within a collaborative health setting.

• Deliver direct expert nursing care to individuals and groups
• Lead and support nursing staff within your scope of practice
• Collaborate with medical, allied health and community partners
• Apply clinical knowledge to support patient assessment and care
• Develop advanced skills under mentorship towards Nurse Practitioner endorsement

About You

RN-3 You are an autonomous, motivated nurse ready to develop advanced practice skills. Your leadership, clinical expertise and commitment to patient care help the team deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

• Registered with NMBA and eligible for Nurse Practitioner notation
• Enrolled or completed an accredited Masters for Nurse Practitioner
• Lead and support nurses, students and less experienced staff
• Apply advanced clinical knowledge to manage complex patient care
• Communicate effectively, solve problems and prioritise workload

RN-4  You bring expert clinical and leadership skills to influence care and guide teams. You thrive in collaborative, recovery-focused settings and apply innovation, research and policy to improve outcomes.

• Registered with NMBA and hold Nurse Practitioner practising certificate
• Lead, supervise and develop nursing teams across the service
• Deliver advanced care to complex patients in a multidisciplinary setting
• Apply quality improvement, research and evidence to practice
• Communicate confidently and manage competing priorities
