About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Pharmacist Team Leader to guide and inspire the Critical Care pharmacy team. In this leadership role, you will ensure the delivery of a high-quality pharmacy service by providing mentoring, training, and performance management, while acting as a key point of contact for clinicians and service units. You will lead practice reviews, support the development of workplace policies, and contribute to a specific portfolio that enhances outcomes across the pharmacy service. Your expertise will directly influence safe, cost-effective medication management and optimal patient health outcomes.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with fellow team leaders and the Deputy Directors of Pharmacy, playing a pivotal part in advancing the department’s objectives. You will undertake complex pharmacy work, support staff competence and development, and uphold Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha) Standards of Practice. About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated pharmacy professional who thrives in a leadership role and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

  • Qualified and Registered: Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and registered, or eligible for registration, with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.

  • Experienced Leader: Proven leadership or management experience in hospital pharmacy, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong Skills & Aptitudes: Excellent communication, problem-solving, organisational, and change management skills, with the ability to prioritise, adapt, and work independently.

  • Professional Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of pharmacy practice, standards, and codes of conduct, with demonstrated competence in complex clinical and operational environments.
