About the Role

Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse/Midwife to join our team at Tumby Bay Hospital and Health Services on an ongoing full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and confidence while delivering safe, person-centred care in a supportive rural hospital environment.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and coordinate care for patients and clients, with increasing autonomy over time. EFNLHN provides strong professional support, ongoing professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of the Tumby Bay community and surrounding region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing and/or midwifery care across clinical settings
  • Assess, plan, and coordinate care to meet individual patient and client needs
  • Support quality improvement, safety initiatives, and effective shift coordination
  • Contribute to learning and support for students, graduates, and less experienced staff
