Modbury Hospital serves as a major healthcare facility within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, providing comprehensive surgical services to the local community. Our hospital maintains high standards of patient care while fostering innovation and professional growth for our medical staff.
This position is ongoing part-time (18.75 hours per week), however flexibility will be considered for appointment to the role and the hours can be split between multiple successful applicants.
Key Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (General Surgery) or equivalent
- Current medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Demonstrated experience in general surgical procedures
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to quality patient outcomes and safety
You will play a pivotal role in providing safe, evidence-based, and patient-focused care, while contributing to teaching, research, and clinical leadership.
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, and appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
