    • RN/RM5.2 $160,848 p.a. + 12% Superannuation + Leave Loading + Salary Sacrifice Benefits
    • AHP5 $132,440 - $144,852 p.a. + 12% Superannuation + Leave Loading + Salary Sacrifice Benefits  + Regional Incentives may apply  (Allied Health positions only)
  • Ongoing Full Time position

Make a lasting impact on patient care as the Director Clinical & Care Governance. This senior leadership role drives excellence in safety, quality, and risk management across all Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN) services.

You will lead the Quality, Risk & Safety team, embed robust clinical governance frameworks, and ensure that strategies and processes support safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. Reporting to the Executive Director of Nursing & Midwifery, you will influence operational and strategic decision-making, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

This is an opportunity to shape healthcare delivery across multiple sites, leaving a lasting legacy in a dynamic and supportive regional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice on safety, quality and risk to the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Overseeing implementation of the Clinical Governance Framework and ensuring compliance with National Safety and Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Analysing, monitoring and reporting on clinical information and quality systems to support informed decision-making at both operational and Executive levels.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Are you a Registered Nurse/Midwife, or Allied Health professional with eligibility for professional registration/membership?
  • Do you have proven expertise in clinical governance, risk management, and driving quality improvement initiatives?
  • Are you skilled at leading teams, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and embedding innovative service strategies?
  • Do you bring strategic insight and the ability to provide high-level advice to Executive leadership on safety, quality, and governance?
