About the Role

Join SA Medical Imaging (SAMI) as a Consultant Radiologist and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred Medical Imaging services, with a strong focus on paediatric and women’s imaging, as well as interventional radiology. Reporting to the Campus Clinical Head, you will provide expert clinical care to patients at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that supports excellence in diagnosis, treatment, teaching and research. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals committed to improving outcomes for some of the state’s most vulnerable patients.

In this role, you will provide professional leadership and supervision to trainees, medical students and clinical staff, while actively contributing to quality improvement and assurance initiatives. You will represent SAMI at key campus and multidisciplinary meetings, fostering strong clinical partnerships and ensuring effective service delivery. With a focus on teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement, you will help drive diagnostic accuracy and service excellence, while also supporting service provision across multiple SAMI locations as required.

About You

As a passionate and highly skilled Consultant Radiologist, you will bring the following essential qualifications, experience and capabilities:

  • MBBS (or equivalent) with specialist registration (or eligibility)

  • Proven expertise across diverse Medical Imaging modalities

  • Strong leadership, teaching and multidisciplinary collaboration skills

  • Commitment to quality care, research and continuous improvement
