About the role

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join the Kate Hill and Newland Wards where you will provide safe, high-quality nursing care within a surgical health service setting. The role delivers person-centred care, supports patients and families, works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and contributes to quality, safety, education and continuous improvement.

Key duties of the role

  • Assess patient needs and plan, deliver and evaluate evidence-based care
  • Provide safe, person-centred nursing care within a surgical setting
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and external services
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with policies
  • Support students, graduates and less experienced nursing staff

Skills and Experience

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated clinical competence in a surgical or acute care setting
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to consumer and family-centred care
