To succeed in this role, you should possess skills, experience and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Provide expert speech pathology assessment and treatment across acute and community settings
  • Lead complex case management and contribute to clinical decision-making
  • Mentor junior staff and students, sharing your knowledge and experience
  • Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health teams to optimise patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice development

About You:

You will hold a Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification with current registration with Speech Pathology Australia. We are seeking an experienced professional with demonstrated expertise in acute healthcare or community settings, complemented by strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice skills. Your excellent communication and interpersonal abilities will enable you to work effectively within our multidisciplinary teams. Previous leadership experience and mentoring capabilities would be highly regarded as you support the professional development of junior staff and students.
