Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate nursing/midwifery and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity, quality, and safety of patient/client care.
  • Manage resources effectively, including staffing, rostering, performance development, and operational planning within your unit/service.
  • Promote professional development, mentoring, and a positive learning environment for staff and students.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, compliance with NSQHS Standards, and evidence-based practice across your service.

What We're Looking For:

  • Do you hold current registration as a Nurse and/or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practising certificate, or are eligible for one?
  • Are you an experienced clinical leader with at least 3 years post-registration experience and proven competence in nursing/midwifery practice?
  • Do you enjoy mentoring and developing staff, supporting students, and fostering a positive workplace culture?
  • Are you passionate about improving patient care, implementing innovative models of care, and leading change in a rural health service setting?
