About the role: 

Reporting to the Preadmissions Clinic Advanced Nurse Manager, some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team with a strong focus on person centred care
  • SALHN Preadmission Clinic has a strong focus on positive team culture and wellbeing, and we are looking for a candidate who can foster and contribute to this
  • Provide ward/team leader/coordination as required on a shift by shift basis. (A team leader is a RN assigned responsibility for supporting staff and coordinating patient/client care)
  • Review decisions, assessments and recommendations from less experienced Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses and students

About you:

  • Minimum post registration 3 years including recent surgical experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including use of Microsoft applications, EMR knowledge essential
  • Ability to work at SALHN Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga Hospital Preadmission Clinics
  • Excellent time management and clinical reasoning skills
  • Provision of patient centred care via telehealth and in person
  • Able to adapt quickly and multitask efficiently in a changing and evolving environment
