Overview

We are offering an opportunity for a Dietitian (AHP2) to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nutrition services within a community and rehabilitation setting across the Yorke & Northern Local Health Network. This role provides variety and autonomy, working under reduced clinical direction while contributing to multidisciplinary care, service development and health promotion initiatives. You will support clients across the continuum of care and play an active role in improving nutrition outcomes for individuals, families and communities in a regional health setting.

Who are we looking for 

  • A qualified Dietitian eligible for practising membership with the relevant professional association, with experience in community or rehabilitation settings.
  • A motivated clinician who can work with increasing autonomy, apply sound clinical judgement and manage a diverse caseload.
  • A strong communicator who values teamwork, cultural safety and client-centred practice across varied populations.
  • An adaptable and proactive professional with a commitment to continuous improvement, professional development and evidence-based care

How will you contribute

  • Deliver comprehensive dietetic assessment, intervention and evaluation for clients across inpatient, outpatient and community settings, using evidence-based and person-centred approaches.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support rehabilitation, chronic disease management, prevention and early intervention initiatives.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement, education and health promotion activities aligned with community needs.
  • Provide professional support, education and supervision to students, allied health assistants and less experienced staff as required.
