    About the Role:

    Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) has an opportunity as a full-time or part-time Physiotherapist in the Geriatrics in the Home (GITH) Service at Modbury Hospital and Lionsgate Business Park.

    Geriatrics in the Home (GITH) is a 35 bed hospital substitution service which provides in home services for the Older Person requiring urgent health-related review, treatment, and investigations. The service delivers in-patient, multi-disciplinary care and treatment to Older People within their home environment.

    These positions are temporary until 30 June 2026 and offers unique professional growth opportunities across this specialised community based geriatric service.

    The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia. Located at Modbury Hospital and Lionsgate Business Park , you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive physiotherapy services to older adults in their homes as part of the Northern Adelaide Geriatrics Service.

    To succeed in this role, you should possess skills, experience and knowledge that enable you to:

    • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
    • Develop individualised treatment plans focusing on mobility, function, and quality of life.
    • Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health teams.
    • Support discharge planning and community transition programs.
    • Participate in professional development and mentoring opportunities.

    To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
