  • Salary: $67,589 to $72,033 – ASO3 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 12 Months

Overview:

The Medical Education Support Officer assists with the development and implementation of medical education, training and online services activities across SA Health including:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of medical education, training and online services activities throughout South Australia.
  • Supporting ICT systems to support medical education, training and accreditation.
  • Contributing to the success of medical education and training activities by contributing to project management across a range of initiatives.
  • Assisting with administrative activities within the SA MET Unit as required.
  • Providing secretariat support to the SA MET Health Advisory Council Sub-Committees.

This role is a diverse role working within the SA MET Unit ensuring the activities are customer focussed and responsive to the needs to the stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing education, training and support on the use of web-based tools and learning management systems.
  • Project support to the SA MET Unit.
  • Assisting in the development of content for the SA MET Unit newsletter, SA MET Unit website and social media sites.
  • Communicating with stakeholders through web-based communication tools.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
