Executive Assistant to Clinical Director - Shape Healthcare Leadership at SA's Premier Medical Centre

Join SA Health's Southern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Executive Assistant supporting clinical leadership at Flinders Medical Centre, South Australia's premier healthcare facility. About the role: 

Reporting to the Administration Manager, some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Position is to support the Divisional Director and Co-Director. Future work may include deployment to other areas of WCD and SAHLN
  • Managing, monitoring and maintaining the security and integrity of the corporate document record management system for the Women's and Children's Executive Division directorate
  • Liaising professionally with staff and key stakeholders both internal and external to SA Health
  • Preparing, collecting and distributing information required for meeting including agendas, minutes and facilitating the actioning of relevant action items
  • Screening incoming telephone calls, evaluating for urgency using initiative and judgement and interpreting guidelines to ensure priority is given to appropriate patients/enquiries

About you:

  • Experience in providing a professional and high-level confidential administrative support service to an Executive
  • Demonstrated ability to determine and organise priorities, plan appropriately, meet deadlines under pressure and take initiative where appropriate
  • Experience in administrative practices and processes including drafting correspondence, organising meetings and facilitating communication
  • Experience in a similar role, highlighting sound organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability in using initiative, enthusiasm and drive and to work with minimal supervision in meeting agreed objectives
