About the Role

Join our Mental Health Care Program as a Registered Nurse and grow your practice in a supportive, recovery-focused setting. You’ll deliver safe, person-centred care, build strong consumer relationships and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support positive mental health outcomes.

• Deliver comprehensive mental health nursing care and case work
• Build therapeutic relationships that support recovery goals
• Coordinate care with health teams and community partners
• Support and guide less experienced nursing staff
• Maintain safe practice and grow skills through ongoing learning

About You

RN-1  You bring a caring, organised approach and enjoy supporting consumers and clinical teams. Your skills, initiative and commitment to recovery help the ward deliver safe, high-quality care.

• Registered with NMBA and hold a current practising certificate
• Hold or working towards a recognised mental health nursing qualification
• Apply clinical skills to plan, implement and evaluate care
• Communicate effectively with consumers, carers and teams
• Use initiative and work collaboratively under limited supervision

RN-2  You bring advanced clinical skills and leadership to support consumers and develop teams. You thrive in a collaborative, recovery-focused environment and can guide practice and coordinate care across the program.

• Registered with NMBA and hold a mental health nursing qualification
• Lead and support nurses, students and less experienced staff
• Deliver care to individuals with complex mental health needs
• Communicate confidently and manage workload under minimal supervision
• Apply knowledge of legislation, standards and recovery-based practice
