About the Role

Join the friendly team at Ceduna Hospital as a Kitchen Hand and play a vital role in supporting patient care behind the scenes. This ongoing opportunity is available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering job security, flexibility, and the chance to be part of a close-knit health service that truly values its people.

In this hands-on role, you will contribute to the preparation, service and delivery of meals to patients, residents and staff, helping ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment. You may also support other areas of the health unit such as laundry and housekeeping, providing variety in your day and strengthening teamwork across services.

How Will You Contribute?

  • Assist with the preparation, plating, service and delivery of meals in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support safe and effective kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, handling stock and using equipment correctly.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the health unit.
  • Participate in training and follow food safety, infection control and workplace health and safety standards.
