Research Administrative Assistant - Supporting High-Quality Research and Medical Services

Play a key role in supporting high-quality research and medical services by providing professional, confidential and effective administrative support within a dynamic health environment. As a Research Administrative Assistant, you’ll work closely with research and medical services staff, contributing to the efficient operation of research activities and projects across the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network.

About the Role:

As the Research Administrative Assistant - Medical Services, you will be responsible and accountable for providing high-level liaison and comprehensive administrative support to the Research Unit staff within RMCLHN. Your work will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services by ensuring professional, efficient and effective administrative support to the Research team and Medical Services staff.

In this role, you will support the efficient operation of the Research Unit by providing advice and assistance on administrative matters and functions. You will also provide research and project support to the Medical Services Unit, assisting with relevant projects and operational activities to support effective service delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in the provision of a comprehensive and high-level range of administrative and secretarial support services, including management of diary appointments, travel arrangements and events, and preparation of minutes, reports, letters, briefs, and other correspondence.
  • Demonstrated experience in undertaking project activities requiring the analysis of problems and the provision of appropriate recommendations and solutions.
  • Experience in administrative process and records management, and in the use of computing software to produce high quality documents and presentation material.
