About the Role

Join a supportive and community-focused team at Streaky Bay Hospital and Health Services as a Services Assistant. In this flexible casual pool position, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our facility running smoothly by providing high-quality catering, cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry support. Every shift you work contributes directly to the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support catering services by preparing simple ingredients, receiving and plating food, delivering meals, and assisting clients with menu forms.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment through general housekeeping duties, carpet cleaning, window cleaning (including ladder use), and other routine cleanliness tasks.
  • Assist with laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, labelling, ironing, and distributing linen, uniforms, and other items.
  • Carry out general utility tasks, such as minor sewing repairs, stock recording, and supporting sterilisation documentation during the washing cycle.
