Join SA Health as a Part-time Allergy and Clinical Immunology Clinical Nurse at Flinders Medical Centre, where you will provide specialised nursing care to patients with allergy and complex immunological conditions while enjoying the work-life balance of a five day roster. About the role: 

Duties for the role will include:

  • Working with adult and paediatric patients in both outpatient and day admission settings
  • Oversee the provision of nursing care within a team
  • Participate in clinical teaching, overseeing learning experience, and goal setting for students, new staff and staff with less experience
  • Manage a portfolio with the opportunity to establish improved clinical care pathways

About you:

  • Demonstrated competence in Allergy and Clinical Immunology nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards
  • Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the clinical setting
  • Experience with adult and paediatric allergy/immunology patients
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
  • Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses
