    • $32.12 - $32.46 per hour + 25% casual loading | WHA4
    • $31.48 - $31.81 per hour + 25% casual loading | WHA3
  • Eligibility: Open to Everyone

Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either a WHA4 or WHA3, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

We’re seeking a committed Direct Care Attendant (Residential) to join our residential care team and play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of our residents. About the Role:

As a Direct Care Attendant (Residential), you will assist in the delivery of direct care services to residents within the Residential Care Home. Working under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support residents with daily living activities, promote independence where possible, and help maintain a respectful, safe, and dignified care environment. Your contribution will be essential in supporting residents’ comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life each day.

What We’re Looking For:

WHA4

  • Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
  • Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
  • Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.

WHA3

  • Experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.
