You’ll be supported to grow your skills in coordination, stakeholder engagement and program delivery, while contributing to a service that promotes independence, inclusion and wellbeing for some of our most valued community members.

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network offers opportunities across our sites, from Kangaroo Island to Eudunda, wrapping all the way around our metropolitan areas (position based in Gawler East). WHERE AND HOW YOU WILL WORK

Located in Gawler East, Gawler Health Service serves a growing community at the gateway to the Barossa Valley. The area offers strong community connections, convenient access to Adelaide, and a blend of regional living with metropolitan accessibility. With schools, services, and public transport nearby, Gawler East provides a practical and welcoming location for health professionals.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Are you an organised and community-focused coordinator who enjoys bringing people together to make a difference?
• Do you have experience working with volunteers, managing schedules, and supporting vulnerable community members to access essential services?
• Are you committed to delivering safe, reliable and compassionate transport services for older people and Aboriginal health care consumers?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

• Coordinate and roster volunteer drivers to support Aged Care and Aboriginal Health consumers.
• Manage transport referrals, scheduling and client communication.
• Support, orient and liaise with volunteer drivers to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting and compliance with safety and governance requirements.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

Working in this environment, it is important to us that we only employ people with the upmost integrity and commitment to serving the South Australian community and its visitors to the highest possible standards.
