About the Role:

Step into this rewarding position within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network's Mental Health Short Stay Unit, where your work will directly support individuals navigating acute mental health challenges.

This role places you at the heart of meaningful, person‑centred care during pivotal moments in a person’s recovery journey.

What You'll Do:

  • conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
  • develop and implement individualised care plans
  • provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support
  • coordinate discharge planning and link patients to appropriate community resources

This role is rostered across a 7‑day service to support flexible, high‑quality care delivery.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
