WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

The Manager Corporate Operations – Facilities Lead role offers a senior leadership opportunity within Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network’s Corporate Services directorate, with full accountability for facilities services including catering, cleaning, laundry and administration across several BHFLHN hospital and health service sites, providing the chance to shape service development and continuous improvement under broad direction with significant scope to influence strategy and operations within a values-based SA Health workplace that promotes trust, respect, integrity, collaboration and kindness, and supports professional growth and ongoing performance development.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • An experienced facilities operations leader with a track record in delivering high level, strategic leadership and managing complex, multi‑site services in a health or similarly complex environment.
  • A person with strong strategic thinking, excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to drive change, lead reform, and build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Someone with extensive experience in human, financial and material resource management, policy and program development, quality management, and a sound understanding of relevant legislation, standards and accreditation requirements

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

  • Lead and coordinate facilities services (including catering, cleaning, laundry, administration and site facilities) to ensure safe, efficient, consumer‑focused operations across all allocated BHFLHN sites.
  • Develop and implement business plans, policies, procedures and management systems that support financial sustainability, risk management, performance improvement and compliance with SA Health and BHFLHN requirements.
  • Build and support a high‑performing workforce by leading staff development, performance management and change initiatives, fostering a positive culture aligned with SA Health values and Work Health and Safety obligations.
