About the Role

Step into a leadership role supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and shaping high-quality patient care.

  • Support daily operations and mentor nursing staff
  • Drive practice improvements and implement new initiatives
  • Manage staffing, rosters, leave and work allocation
  • Monitor budgets, resources and supply needs
  • Build strong relationships across the team and wider health network

About You

You are a motivated nurse ready to lead, support and inspire a high-performing team.

  • Hold current registration or eligibility with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Communicate clearly and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrate competence in nursing practice and patient-centred care
  • Supervise and guide junior staff and students with confidence
  • Apply knowledge of legislation, standards and quality improvement systems
