About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Nurse Consultant to join our Diabetes Education Service within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network. This is a pivotal role for a clinician who is passionate about advancing diabetes care and supporting both patients and colleagues through expert guidance, education and leadership.

In this position, you will provide advanced clinical leadership across acute and primary care settings, ensuring high‑quality, evidence‑based diabetes management. As an expert practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting optimal outcomes for individuals living with diabetes by driving innovation, service improvement and best‑practice care.

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate complex care, deliver structured diabetes education, and empower individuals and families through effective self‑management strategies. Your leadership will help strengthen clinical capability across the network and enhance the overall quality of diabetes services.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
