About the Role:
Join the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Occupational Therapist within our Northern Adelaide Geriatric Service, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.
Working within the Northern Adelaide Geriatric Service, you will provide specialised occupational therapy assessment and intervention for older adults with complex health needs. You will lead clinical decision-making, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes and support safe transitions home or to appropriate care settings. In this role you will:
- conduct comprehensive functional assessments for geriatric patients
- develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- provide clinical supervision and education to team members
- participate in discharge planning and community liaison activities
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
