About the role

The Admin Coordinator leads confidential administrative and project services across CHS, supporting clients with complex needs, including Domestic and Family Violence. Ensures consistent processes, drives system improvements, builds staff capability through training and support, and provides high-level executive assistance to the CHS Manager and committees.

Key duties of the role

  • Implement and maintain efficient administrative systems, including finance, HR, and records management, across all sites.
  • Ensure consistent processes and compliance with organisational policies and standards.
  • Lead and coordinate administrative service improvements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support effective implementation of changes.
  • Promote a positive, customer-focused and values-driven workplace culture aligned with SA Health and Public Sector principles.

Skills and Experience

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to work effectively under limited direction, either independently or within a team
  • Proven ability to develop, improve and maintain clear, accurate administrative and financial records and to identify, analyse, evaluate and deliver a range of information and advice to guide and support administrative operations.
  • Experience with Providing administrative support for clients with Domestic Family Violence and trauma that sometimes means being aware of personal information that includes violence.
