WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
In this role, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients and clients within a defined clinical area, with increasing autonomy over time. You will assess individual needs, plan and coordinate care, and work collaboratively with other disciplines and agencies to ensure holistic, person-centred service delivery.
You will also contribute to the effective operation of the health service through quality improvement activities, team coordination, education support and participation in evidence-based practice.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Are you a Registered Nurse developing from novice to proficient practice, committed to delivering high-quality patient-centred care?
- Are you accountable for your own professional practice and confident in safely delegating and supervising others within your scope?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care by assessing patient/client needs and planning, implementing and evaluating appropriate care.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and external services to support holistic health outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management activities within the clinical setting.
- Support education and development of students, graduates and less experienced staff through supervision and guidance.
- Apply evidence-based practice and participate in research or evaluation activities to improve care outcomes

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

- You must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
