About the role

As the Medical Imaging Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the SA Medical Imaging (SAMI) Repat Health Precinct (RHP) senior team, operating with a high level of independence under broad policy direction. You will lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) Program, driving excellence in accreditation, compliance and continuous improvement across the service. Working closely with senior leaders, you will embed quality and risk management frameworks that support patient and staff safety, strengthen performance outcomes and reinforce SAMI RHP’s reputation as a quality-assured and accredited provider to both public and private sector clients.

Alongside your quality leadership responsibilities, you will bring your expertise as a Senior Radiographer, delivering complex medical imaging services using specialised equipment across a range of clinical specialties. You will provide expert advice, consultancy and clinical supervision to multidisciplinary teams, contribute to service development and innovation, and support professional education and capability building across the department. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic direction, lead meaningful quality initiatives, and balance high-level QA governance with hands-on clinical practice in a progressive and collaborative environment.

  • Quality and safety leader with demonstrated experience as an Accredited Specialising Radiographer, including managing imaging QA programs such as RANZCR/NATA, accreditation processes and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

  • Highly organised and analytical professional with the ability to undertake stringent QA procedures, interpret accreditation requirements, apply quality improvement principles and utilise RIS/PACS systems effectively.

  • Collaborative and influential communicator who motivates teams, coordinates training programs, and works effectively across multidisciplinary settings while engaging positively with patients, clinicians and support staff.
