Join our Corporate Services Team as a Patient Services Team Leader

About the role: 

Reporting to the Site Manager, Hotel Services, this night shift position is responsible for leading Patient Service Assistants during overnight operations. The role is hands-on and focuses on supervision, training, and maintaining high service standards across all duties during the night shift, including:

  • Coordinating and overseeing the nightly duties of staff under your supervision, ensuring quality, efficiency, and continuity of service during overnight hours
  • Providing on-shift support, guidance, and training to night staff, setting clear expectations to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Identifying and contributing to the training and development needs of team members working night shift
  • Assisting with night shift rosters and ensuring an appropriate skill mix is maintained across overnight shifts
  • Supporting recruitment, staff performance management, and the application of HR policies and procedures, with a focus on night shift operations
  • Promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment during overnight hours, in line with WHS regulations and the South Australian Public Sector Code of Ethics

About you:

  • Proven experience in supervising and supporting staff in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of staff and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and foster team cohesion
  • Previous experience in a Patient Services or healthcare setting is highly desirable
