About the Role:

An exciting opportunity awaits within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network for an enthusiastic and motivated nursing leader to join our Acute Medical Unit as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. As Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will support the delivery of acute medical care whilst mentoring nursing teams and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high‑quality acute medical care while mentoring and guiding nursing teams to achieve the best possible outcomes. Working alongside the Nurse Unit Manager, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the unit, support staff development and help maintain exceptional standards of care.

You will be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, where your contribution will directly influence the experience and wellbeing of patients and their loved ones. From ensuring a safe and supportive environment to coordinating daily workflows and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, your leadership will help shape a service that truly makes a difference.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
