Overview:

Based primarily at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, the Manager Library Services, Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), is responsible for the daily management of the CALHN library team and library sites (located at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital). The Manager Library Services CALHN is responsible for ensuring needs of CALHN workforce are addressed through site-specific and service-wide planning processes and initiatives.

Reporting to the Knowledge Manager, the Manager Library Services CALHN works closely with the SA Health Library Service (SAHLS) management team to develop and implement service-wide business plan underpinned by an integrated team approach and culture. The SAHLS key objective is to ensure service delivery is highly responsive to the current and future information needs of staff across all SA Health. The role currently has Lead responsibilities for the service-wide Marketing and Collections portfolios (see the website About Us page for more information).

While this position is predominately based at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, attending meetings at various sites, and regular contact hours at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital will be required.
