- Ongoing Full Time role working over a 5-day roster
Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either a RN/M2C, AHP1/2 or RN/M1, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
The Mental Health Clinician (RN/M2C, AHP1/2, RN/M1) role offers the opportunity to work within the Kangaroo Island Community Mental Health Team, a multidisciplinary team delivering recovery-focused clinical services to adult consumers. In this role, you will provide evidence-based, discipline-specific assessment, reports, consultation, individual and group interventions, and discharge planning to support improved outcomes for consumers, their families and carers.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, you will provide clinical care coordination and contribute to the development and implementation of clinical plans that reduce discharge barriers and support successful community tenure. You will also participate in education, quality improvement, planning activities and clinical supervision to enhance your professional knowledge and contribute to improved outcomes for consumers.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Deliver evidence-based assessment, intervention, consultation and discharge planning.
- Provide clinical care coordination for consumers within the community.
- Work collaboratively with consumers, carers, team members and external organisations.
- Develop and implement clinical plans to support recovery and reduce discharge barriers.
- Participate in education, quality improvement, planning activities and clinical supervision.
