About the role

As a Radiographer, you will perform complex diagnostic imaging across a variety of clinical specialities, using advanced radiography equipment to deliver safe, high-quality care to patients with minimal professional direction. You will play a key role in guiding and mentoring fellow radiographers, new graduates, and students on clinical placement, sharing your expertise to support the growth and development of the team.

Working closely within a multidisciplinary environment, you will collaborate with medical officers, radiologists, nurses, and other staff to ensure smooth and effective patient care. You will also contribute to departmental research and quality assurance initiatives, helping to maintain high standards in safety, clinical practice, and service delivery. About You

You are a skilled and adaptable Diagnostic Radiographer committed to delivering safe, high-quality imaging services while fostering positive relationships across your team and with patients.

  • Hold a relevant Medical Radiation degree, registered with MRPB, and licensed (or eligible) to operate diagnostic X-ray apparatus under SA legislation.

  • Skilled in performing complex radiography procedures, assessing clinical needs, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

  • Strong communicator and team player, able to work independently, mentor staff, and positively contribute to change.

  • Knowledgeable in RIS/PACS systems, radiation safety, medico-legal responsibilities, and culturally sensitive patient care.
