What are we offering?

We are offering a frontline administration role within Country Health Connect – Limestone Coast, based in the Tatiara (Bordertown/Keith) region, where you will provide high quality, confidential and customer‑focused support to clients, staff and visitors. You will join a supportive regional health team within Limestone Coast Local Health Network, contribute to smooth day‑to‑day service delivery, and work in an environment that values integrity, honesty, courage, care and respect.

Position summary

The Administration Service Officer provides reception, clerical and administrative services for Country Health Connect – Limestone Coast, including greeting and directing clients and visitors, handling enquiries, coordinating appointments and undertaking a range of office support tasks. The role delivers accurate word processing and data entry, cash handling and EFTPOS processing, meeting support, and general administrative assistance to health professionals, programs and visiting clinicians across the Tatiara sites.

Who are we looking for?

  • Someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, who can provide courteous, professional customer service in person and over the phone and work effectively as part of a busy team.
  • A person with accurate data entry and computer skills (including Microsoft Office), experience in reception or medical records, and the ability to prioritise work, manage fluctuating demands and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • An adaptable, customer‑focused administrator who can use initiative, handle sensitive or difficult situations with tact and empathy, and work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal clients and communities.

How will you contribute?

  • Provide a welcoming reception service, respond to enquiries, direct clients appropriately, coordinate bookings and appointments, process EFTPOS and cash, and support the hiring and return of equipment.
  • Deliver efficient clerical support by preparing correspondence, filing, photocopying, managing mail, supporting visiting clinicians with room and diary bookings, raising invoices, ordering stationery and assisting with vehicle bookings and records.
  • Actively support quality improvement by contributing ideas to improve administration processes, promoting a healthy team environment, reporting hazards and incidents, and ensuring efficient use of facilities, equipment and supplies.
