  • Temporary up to 29/3/27 and part-time working 18.75 hours per week

About the role

Join our team as an Operational Services Officer and play a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of SA Pathology’s laboratory services. You’ll contribute to a variety of hands-on tasks, including sorting and accessioning specimens, accurate data entry, assisting with preparatory duties, and managing the storage and transport of specimens. Every day, your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure the timely and reliable delivery of results.

In this role, you’ll build strong connections with both internal staff and external clients, responding to enquiries professionally and supporting the broader laboratory team. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where practical skills, organisation, and a proactive approach are valued, and where your work makes a tangible difference to the delivery of high-quality pathology services.

  • Work independently and as part of a team, using initiative and prioritising tasks effectively.

  • Produce accurate, high-quality work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

  • Communicate confidently with staff and clients, providing excellent customer service.

  • Bring experience in pathology operations, information systems, and handling enquiries.
