About the Role

As Senior Dietitian, you’ll lead specialist nutrition services across CALHN, guiding teams to deliver evidence-based, patient-centred care. You’ll drive service improvements, mentor staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for patients.

• Lead and supervise dietitians, assistants and students in your service
• Manage complex caseloads and ensure high-quality nutrition care
• Advise staff and external partners on patient-focused dietetic issues
• Drive quality improvement, research and service development projects
• Mentor teams and support clinical education across CALHN

About You

You’re a highly skilled dietitian with a passion for clinical excellence and mentoring others. You bring sound professional judgement, leadership, and a collaborative approach to delivering safe, patient-centred care.

• Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with full DAA membership eligibility
• Experience managing complex clinical nutrition cases in acute or sub-acute care
• Skilled in mentoring, supervising and guiding dietitians and students
• Confident in service improvement, quality activities and research projects
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
