About the role

The Business Support Officer provides specialised business and administrative support, surrounding recruitment, training, data management, system guidance, and service improvement. The Business Support Officer works collaboratively and delivers staff training, maintains Patient Administration Services knowledge, and contributes to organisational development.

Key duties of the role

  • Provide system training in the use of relevant software and administrative systems.
  • Provide skilled knowledge, and assistance to staff regarding Patient Administration Services system.
  • Contribute to the development of corporate training and reference materials.
  • Provide oversight to central business operations unit
  • Maintain accurate and current procedure documentation.
  • Provide high level project support

Skills and Experience

  • Success in planning, decision-making, organisation, team building and innovation.
  • Experience in measuring service performance and key performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of data capture standards and quality improvement policies and procedures.
  • Ability to identify performance outcomes and set and meet priorities.
  • Proven ability to analyse, evaluate and apply information.
