About the Role

Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for growing and strengthening the allied health workforce? This pivotal role leads key initiatives that shape capability, advance learning and development, and prepare our workforce for the evolving needs of CALHN’s consumers. Full-time or part-time hours are available.

What you’ll do

  • Play a key role in the implementation of CALHN’s Allied Health Strategic Workforce Plan (2026–2031), where you will be supported to lead, influence and empower the allied health workforce now and into the future.
  • Co-ordinate  interprofessional learning and development  initiatives across  allied health career stages.
  • Drive workforce planning projects that meet current and future service needs.
  • Build strong partnerships with education providers and leaders across sectors.

About You

You’re a supportive, collaborative leader who brings people together to lift capability, nurture learning and strengthen a connected allied health workforce. You value relationships, communicate with clarity and lead with curiosity, compassion and a genuine commitment to helping others grow.

  • Hold an appropriate qualification in allied health from a recognised tertiary institution allowing registration or membership of relevant national board or professional association
  • Lead and inspire teams across complex and dynamic environments
  • Build trusted partnerships with staff, leaders and education partners
  • Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement across services
  • Manage priorities, projects and communication with confidence
