About the role

As a Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality pathology services that underpin patient care across South Australia. Working closely with the Marketing team at SA Pathology, you will contribute to the development and delivery of responsive, professional and client-focused marketing support that aligns with organisational priorities and enhances service outcomes for public hospitals, community requesters and their patients.

In this collaborative role, you will assist in ensuring marketing activities are timely, accurate and aligned with stakeholder needs. You will engage with internal teams and external partners to support effective communication, promote services, and strengthen relationships that enable SA Pathology to deliver trusted, high-quality pathology outcomes across the health system.

• Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond proactively to issues while working under broad direction.

• Well-developed planning, organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and effectively multi-task within a team environment.

• Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a confident communication style, strong interpersonal skills and the initiative to identify improvements and support effective work processes.

• Experience providing support services in a busy healthcare or pathology environment, supported by a sound understanding of the sector and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
