  • Temporary Full-Time or Part-Time, up to 4 December 2026
  • Temporary Part-Time - working 32 hours per week, up to 25 June 2026

About the Role:

A rewarding opportunity awaits within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network for dedicated Registered/Clinical Nurses and/or Clinical Midwives/Midwives to join our Special Care Nursery team. In this vital role, you will provide specialised, compassionate care to newborns requiring additional medical support, ensuring the best possible start to life for infants and their families.

Working in our Special Care Nursery, you will deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care during some of the most vulnerable moments for families. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support neonates with diverse and complex needs, contributing to a family‑centred model of care that prioritises safety, comfort and wellbeing.

To be eligible for this position, you must be:

  • registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, OR
  • registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, OR
  • registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

In this role, you will bring a strong foundation in neonatal or acute care nursing, with the clinical skills and sound judgement required to respond to rapidly changing situations. Your ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively and build supportive relationships with families is central to your practice.
