About the Role:

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will deliver comprehensive, evidence-based and recovery-oriented mental health services across community, acute and rehabilitation settings. This multi-classified position is open to Registered Nurses (RN/M1 and RN/M2C) and Allied Health Professionals (AHP1/2), including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Social Workers. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide integrated care that meets the needs of consumers, carers and families through preventative, therapeutic and evaluative approaches.

Depending on classification and experience, you will progress from competent to proficient practice, taking accountability for your own professional standards and, where applicable, mentoring less experienced staff and contributing to supervision and team leadership. The role includes delivering psychological assessments, individual and family interventions, group programs, health promotion and community development initiatives, while supporting recovery-focused outcomes for consumers. Opportunities for portfolio responsibilities and professional development are available, allowing you to further develop your clinical expertise and contribute meaningfully to the ongoing improvement of mental health services across the Local Health Network.
