Overview:

  • The Clinical Business Change Manager (Manager) – Office of the Chief Medical Information Officer (OCMIO), is accountable to the Chief Clinical Information Officer and is responsible for strategic and operational oversight of communication, training and clinical engagement functions within the OCMIO. The span of engagement includes all clinical and administrative settings across SA Health to ensure development and maintenance of materials and strategies across the enterprise with a specific focus on improved data literacy, digital enablement and improving health outcomes for south Australians through the use of technology. This role will oversee the management of existing relationships and draw on expertise across the entire range of clinical and administrative areas to ensure that support is available covering the full scope of OCMIO work and assigned projects. The Manager provides professional and clinical oversite to multi-disciplinary teams employed within the OCMIO. The Manager has responsibility for leading clinician engagement to develop data driven solutions, support DHSA clinical facing projects, ensure configuration of solutions aligned to business needs, establishment of business workflows and coordination of teams to optimise adoption of digital solutions across SA Health. This role ensures that OCMIO support across sites is aligned to SA Health’s broader strategic objectives.
  • The Manager will be responsible for developing solutions to ensure processes comply with guidelines, standards and best practice. The incumbent will be accountable for the cost effective management within the OCMIO within their span of control. They will have a high degree of autonomy, requiring independent judgement and decision making.

Appointment to classification will be based upon skills / experience.
