Overview

We are now accepting applications for the 2026/2027 casual pool for Administration Officers who will provide customer focused administrative service to clients, staff and visitors to the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network within the Port Broughton District Hospital and Health Service.

As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing a high quality confidential, customer focused administrative service, managing the hospital switchboard and reception area.

In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, storage, retention and disposal of records and contribute to the efficient management system and will be required to maintain accurate Data entry into EMR (patient information systems).

Duties may include the development and maintenance of spreadsheets, creation of documents using Microsoft Office suit and you will need to be proficient in taking and typing of meeting minutes.  You will be required to provide confidential and professional secretarial and administrative support service to executive level staff with efficiency and accuracy.

Eligibility

All applicants must have prior experience in office administration processes and procedures.  This includes experience in computer software packages including word processing, desktop publishing, Microsoft Excel and email.  You must have sound data entry skills.
