About the Role

Play a pivotal part in our Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit, supporting the Director and wider team to deliver seamless patient services. You will manage unit admin, build strong relationships and maintain clear processes that keep the service running smoothly and collaboratively.

Key Duties
• Manage specialist admin support for the Director and unit
• Coordinate patient admin services across the unit
• Supervise and support ASO2 staff as assigned
• Liaise with clinical teams and external partners

You are a confident, people-focused admin leader who brings clarity, energy and sound judgement to a complex clinical setting.

• Lead and motivate teams using a collaborative style
• Communicate clearly and negotiate positive outcomes
• Build trust across clinical, admin and external groups
• Apply policy, legislation and safe work practices
• Use Microsoft tools and digital systems with confidence
