About the Role
Step into a key leadership role that blends hands-on clinical care with people leadership. As Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll support the Nurse Unit Manager to build a confident, capable team, deliver safe, consistent care, and keep the ward running smoothly.

What you’ll do
• Lead day-to-day clinical practice and model high care standards
• Support staff growth through guidance, feedback and coaching
• Drive consistent care and support agreed practice change
• Coordinate rosters, staffing, leave and fair work allocation
• Assist recruitment, performance conversations and attendance follow-up
• Oversee supplies, resources and basic budget planning
• Build strong links across the care team and external partners

About You

You’re a confident nurse who leads by example, supports others to grow, and keeps care safe, organised and consistent in a busy ward setting.

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration or eligibility
• Current, or eligible to hold, practising certificate
• Proven clinical competence aligned to professional standards
• Experience guiding students and developing nursing staff
• Clear communicator who prioritises well and works collaboratively
